”Do you want to grab something from the pantry for that?” - said the mother standing in the mist of the boiling soup at the stove.
The boy groaned quietly, since he could decide what he likes with his stew (he was a 18 year old grown man after all), but he stood up, since he knew the question was a demand in disguise…
He was not amazed with the options at hand, so he grabbed a stool to look at the top shelves, not like they would promise anything better, but one could be surprised after the hundredth time.
Climbing up the shelf offered its plethora of older than old saggy gross bottled fruits, peach and pear, cherries and plum, they could been delicious if not for the awful old look of them, any ordinary person would have just given up at the sight.
But not our hero, after all nobody found any treasure without a bit of digging.
Two or three rows down and nothing worthy of the effort, just one thing out of the ordinary, a dark corner of a paper sticking out from under one of the bottles in the back row…
How strange - thought the boy as he lifted the bottle on top of the paper.
The stack of papers stuck to the last bottle for a second, and as it dropped back page by page, our boy eyes were stuck open as naked bodies dropped, girls sweating, lusting, lingeries, high heels, leather and - .
- “I asked what takes you so long?” asked the mother as she stepped in the doorway
“Nothing” - said the boy as he lowered the bottle back with shaking hands and joined the table in body, as his mind was stuck on top of that shelf like the bottle to that curious stack of paper.
